What are positive and negative ions?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

There is a constant movement of positive and negative ions in the atmosphere. Negative ions are essential for the normal functioning of the human body. The oxygen we breathe into our lungs penetrates the blood through the alveoli only because of its negative charge. However, the insufficient amount of negative ions in the air is becoming increasingly problematic. In living spaces, there are only 20-30 of these particles per cm3<\/sup>. For an optimal climate, it is most beneficial if the room where we spend most of our time has the largest possible amount of negative ions, which beneficially purify the atmosphere. We all know how pleasant it is to breathe air in the forest or near large bodies of water. There, the amount of negative ions is extremely high. Experts cite the figure of 2000 negative ions per cm3<\/sup>, which is why they recommend staying near large bodies of water, e.g. lakes, rivers, and the sea. Negative ions are created by a strong impact or high voltage, which literally shoots negative ions out of atoms. In nature, large amounts of negative ions are released during lightning strikes, as well as at waterfalls, where we feel comfortable in the company of falling drops and breathe naturally fresh air. A deficiency of negative ions has a detrimental effect on health, and people are increasingly using various devices that add negative ions to the atmosphere.<\/p>\n

How do negative ions from the IONEX air ionizer purify the air?<\/h3>\n
