Ionizer for the car - AVTON
This article opens up some new possibilities in environment improvements in closed driver's cabin. Scientists who study effects of various factors on drivers have found out that gas vapors and exhaustion gases in the cabin contain plumb and cadmium. Human organism is unable to protect himself against these submicron particles so they gradually accumulate in the lung tissue. In spite of our assumption that sufficient amount of negative ions get into the car, this is not true. An automobile metal construction acts like a Faraday cage preventing fresh ionized molecules from outside to penetrate the car. Negative ions on external side of atom are very sensitive and they usually drop off after the air hits the metal. Consequently, the air entering the car is rather depleted of negative ions. Meanwhile, number of noxious positive molecules grows as a result of friction between particles of impurity and synthetic materials. When air in the car becomes supersaturated with positive ions, it becomes dangerous both for driver and passengers since oxygen level in their blood is lowered. The results are somnolence, fatigue, slow reactions, loss of concentration and increased irritation. These consequences can not be diminished or eliminated by heating, cooling or filtration. The only remedy is a steady influx of negative ions emanated by the ionizer, that removes submicron particles as well as bacteria and viruses, thus protecting driver and passengers against infectious diseases. How do ionizers operate? Using high voltage, the ionizer releases negative ions from carbon brush. Following fundamental physical laws, these cling to the positive ones (in dirt, dust, smoke, bacteria, viruses, pollen, asbestos, plumb, cadmium, etc.), drop them on the floor and thus clean the air. In addition, they reduce stress, regulate heart beat and blood pressure thus calming the drivers and improving their concentration and overall well being. Scientific research have proven negative ions to be essential. In an experiment, mice who were supplied with ion-free oxygen died. NASA found out that astronauts suffered from muscle cramps in space but had no troubles after the ionizers were installed. A study of test groups in their actual working environments showed that there are 30% less sick people in ionized premises, who also had a higher job performance. Some working environments are a real nutrient medium for various diseases, especially modern premises where air and temperature are regulated by air-conditioning. Their pipe system actually serves as a hotbed for fungi and bacteria while air friction at the same time destroys negative ions. Subsequently the air fluctuating in the premises is depleted of negative ions but "enriched" with bacteria. There has been a well-known BBC case when in their London premises the activity of bacteria Legionella Pneumophila caused the death of three employees. Our company IONEX d.o.o. has been researching ionization for several years. We have developed room ionizers, automobile, portable ionizers, ionizing chamber for people suffering from asthma or allergies, and oxygen masks with ionization for people with coronary diseases. We co-operate with many clinics and have achieved excellent results. For car industry we have developed ionizers which are directly installed in car metal construction. Ionizers are activated by car ignition thus constantly protecting drivers. This is especially important for professional drivers since they spend all their working hours in a car.
